First-party visitor statistics (October 2026)
We use our own limited visitor statistics to understand and improve this website. We record an anonymous, randomly generated code for the current browser tab session, pages viewed, the referring website domain (not the full link), country when reliably available, and time spent on the site. We do not store full visitor IP addresses in this statistics database or use this information for advertising profiles. For the private administrator view, IPv4 addresses are reduced to a /24 network and IPv6 addresses to a /48 network before storage. These masked network prefixes are deleted after seven days; older visits show no network address. The code is kept in session storage and disappears when the browser tab session ends. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable this measurement. Records older than 90 days are purged when the application starts. Only the site administrator can view the statistics. No third-party analytics service receives these statistics. This does not cover separate advertising providers, which may process data under their own policies.
